Currently, in Tajikistan, the number of Marco Polo sheep, which most tourists call “Tajik handsome” because of the beauty of their horns, has increased by 1,500 heads, their total number is 26,483.
Tajikistan is a unique tourist attraction of our time, since it has a great cultural and historical heritage, distinctive culture, favorable geographical location, a variety of natural landscapes, recreational areas, flora and fauna.
The Marco Polo ram is rightfully considered one of the finest animals and one of the best hunting trophies. He lives at such heights that not every hunter can do. But those who want to get this trophy are not decreasing – last year Tajikistan saw 123 hunting licenses.

How to get there: The most convenient and reliable way to Dushanbe is by Turkish Airlines via Istanbul, Turkey. We meet you in Dushanbe by VIP service and our crew assist you through the customs, then you take a car to Khorog and from Khorog to hunting camp is 6 hour’s. Season – Fall Season typi- cally runs September 15-December 25, with Winter Season running January 10-February 28. Most of our hunts take place in late October, November and January due to rutting periods and better sheep concentrations.

Hunting: In the morning you get into your jeep. Horseback hunt is not available in Tajikistan. During the day you will ex- plore the upper edges of the mountains, glassing the hillsides and feeding areas. Once the trophy is located you complete your stalking on foot. You hunt at 14,000 feet / 5,000 m. Physi- cal condition is a factor on the stalking portion of the hunt. A long range shooting, up to 400-500 yards/m is usual for Marco Polo Argali hunt.

Base camp: In Tajikistan the camps are located at 12000 to 13500 feet. We have the best camp in Tadjikistan ,our base camps are lo- cated in places of the highest concentration of wild animals and are compact residential townships that provide heated cabins for cus- tomers, separate rooms for each client, a dining room and a kitchen, a shower room and toilets.In one of the camps there is a hot spring with healing properties and hot water pools. To ensure the leisure of customers there is a billiard room, a package of more than 500 televi- sion channels in English, Russian, French, German, and Turkish. The dining room and kitchen are located in the spacious house. In each of the camps can be taken simultaneously from 4 to 8 clients, includ- ing accompanying.The staff of each camp consists, in addition to the guides, of qualified cooks, waiters, doctors. Virtually all staff speak English and Russian.
Weather: Usually, weather is favorable and rather predictable in this region during the hunting period. During daylight hours in November the temperature is from 30 Fahrenheit / 0 Celsius up to 50 F / 10 C and during nighttime from 14 F / -10 C up to 5 F / -15 C. Windy condi- tions.
