In the entire northern hemisphere of Earth’s moose, one of the most enviable trophies among ungulates. The moose habitat in Kamchatka is the northern part near the Penzhina River and the central part. The introduced moose reached an incredible size! Its huge horn-shaped horns with 38-40 buds on both blades can reach more than 40 kg in weight and 2 meters in light. The weight of an adult male reaches 810 kg. when the fever period comes. Searching for a moose with the help of a manga is fascinating, complex, and truly adventurous. Despite poor vision, the moose can boast excellent hearing: With its ears like radar, it scans the space 360 degrees around. Not so easy to get up close, without scaring off the beast, making hunting moose in the roar especially reckless and prey valuable. Traditionally, the hunting season is open from August 25 to December 15 and from September 15 to October 15.
